A lovely statement citrine pendant, with hand crafted leaves I have come across before on another Amy Sandheim piece, hence my attribution to her. This impressive lemon citrine is super sparkly, thanks to those fabulous facets on both sides of this stone. The stone is a pleasing, more rounded stone which feels squat and substantial in the hand.
The lovely hand-crafted stalks, leaves and berries detailing is clearly hand-crafted individually and both sides are decorated with the same design, with the subtle differences you get with hand-crafted pieces. Just lovely.
It is always nice to find a citrine example as they are such joyful stones. This is a beauty, not only in its wonderful lemon colour, but also due to the excellent way it has been faceted. The pendant measures a touch over 5cm in height, including the bale. I have left the patina as I always think it adds a natural depth to these antique naturalistic pieces. The accompanying sterling silver chain is approx 45cm (17.5 inches) long.
In pleasing condition with only light wear. Ready to wear or else to gift to a lucky recipient. I will send by complimentary tracked and signed post in a new gift box. The boxes in the images are for display only. Thank you.
