A lovely Edwardian moonstone and silver riviere necklace, featuring spectacle-set moonstones, graduating from smallest near the clasp to larger at the front of the necklace. Crafted c1910.
I love how each moonstone is different to the next and how they have been set individually in their own spectacle settings. Typically, the moonstones look clear at times but then with blue adualrescence when moved around. All of the stones are oval in shape.
This lovely riviere necklace measures approx 54cm (21.25 inches) in length and has had a strong clasp replacement. All stones are in pleasing condition, thankfully.
