Description

A real beauty of an antique ring, very much from the c1910 era in a simple, elegant design. It is such a streamlined, ergonomic ring which is so comfortable to wear. It has such a wide band so there is a lot of gold in this piece. It has the old English Edwardian gold stamp of “18ct” on the inside of the band.

This reminds me of a simple Medieval design, having those squareish panels into which each of the half pearls are set. Almost like a gallery design. Very pretty indeed. The band is wide and does narrow a little towards the back centre of the ring. The pearls are natural pearls and there is an understandable wear on the nacre, in line with her age, at over 110+ years old.

A lovely thing to wear and such an attractive, non-fussy design which does have a contemporary feel. It measures as approx UK size M.5 (US size 6). The widest part of the band is approx 6mm.

I shall send by complimentary tracked and signed post, in a new ring box, as the box in the images is for display only. Thank you.
