A gorgeous, high quality Edwardian bracelet c1910 executed in 18ct gold with turquoise stones. Wonderful to have such a fabulous design of link and in 18ct too, instead of the more usual 9ct. These beautiful spherical links are formed by the joining of two circles and it adds such a 3D effect to the links. Each link can turn and rotate as you wear the bracelet, so that there is a high degree of articulation. The buttery 18ct gold is bright and lively and looks wonderful with the pale duck-egg colour of the turquoise stones. A very beautiful design indeed.
I adore the fact that there are two spherical links in between each of the stones. I also love that the bracelet is a larger size, as all too often these antique bracelets are in very small sizes. She measures as approx 21cm (8.5 inches) in length. In such pleasing condition. The gold has been tested as 18ct and there is also a European stamp “750” for 18ct gold. The bracelet weighs approx 6.7g. It is approx 7mm wide. I think there has been a clasp replacement at some point in her life.
An elegant and attractive bracelet to wear too, so it is a gorgeous thing all round.
