A completely gorgeous 1920s antique rock crystal bracelet of large proportions and fabulously in a riviere style with the stones going all the way around the wrist. Many similar bracelets from the era have 5 or 7 stones at the front and plain silver links at the back, however, this beauty is a complete circle of stones, having 18 graduated, super sparkly faceted rock crystal stones.
These bracelets are such a joyful statement of light, bright and eye-catching stones. The largest in this design has a diameter of approx 1.2cm and the smallest approx 6mm. Beautiful stones in pleasing condition for her age and no chips or flea bites at all. I adore the clever mechanical structure of the bracelet, with silver hinges connecting each rock crystal setting to the next. In this way, you have such a sinuous, articulated movement of the bracelet-just lovely.
The bracelet has her original box and tongue clasp, along with the original integral safety clip, to give added security when you wear this sparkly wonder. Who would want to lose her, so it is a nice extra touch for your peace of mind. She measures approx 19cm (7.5 inches) in length and has had a light polish so that she is ready to wear.
No stamps to the silver (as is rather typical for the era), however, tests as silver and the stones confirmed as rock crystal on a gem tester too.
