A pair of beautiful c1910 Edwardian earrings, crafted in 9ct yellow gold, with a faceted sapphire and a long torpedo of lapis lazuli, with those occasional glitters of gold (actually pyrite) in their characters. If you love blue, then you will be delighted with these antique beauties.
I love with these antique, hand crafted pieces the stones are never symmetrical with each other…one is always a little wider or a little longer. If you find a pair and they are exactly the same, ask yourself if they are really antique in that case. I love the faceted sapphires in the first part of the drop. To the reverse, on the setting of the sapphire is a maker’s mark…looks like “EA”.
These are on stamped 9ct gold lever backs and so are ready to wear. Not too large and heavy, as to be uncomfortable but sleek and beautifully proportioned instead. They measure approx 2.6cm in the drop.
I will send in a new gift box as the boxes in the images are for display only. Tracked and signed postage is included in the price.
