Absolutely glorious, joyful early 1900s antique earrings in a hoop design you really do not see often. There is a gemstone stud at the lobe and then a further six stones are set around a circular hoop. The proportions are lovely, as it is a petite hoop so that these joyful, vibrant earrings can be worn as everyday earrings too. 7 stones in each earring, that makes 14 all together.

Marked and tested as 18ct yellow gold, these beauties have been crafted by hand. Each stone has a deep gold setting and is retained by four small gold claws. The stones include rubies, topaz and a variety of spinels. The green stone in each is paste and of course, this was done so that just the exact shade of green was used within this vibrant design. They are original to the earrings. The colour selection does remind me of the Arts and Crafts pieces you see. The round-cut faceted stones have such intense colours and the earrings make me smile so much-very joyful things. So very appropriate for the Spring.

Very wearable-the posts are threaded with a groove so that the sturdy solid gold backs can be screwed on to each to the correct tightness for the wearer. Stamped 18K. The drop of each earring is approx 2.7cm and the diameter of each hoop is approx 1.5cm. Fine, elegant and vibrant things in excellent order.

I shall send them in a new gift box as boxes in the images are for display only. Complimentary Special Delivery within the UK is included, as is Express courier internationally. Thank you.
