Description
An attractive antique bracelet, most likely from Scotland. It dates from the c1900 era and consists of four large, curved carnelian links, which are each capped at both ends with decorative, chased silver caps. It also retains its original chased silver and carnelian heart clasp.
Carnelian is one of my favourite stones, due to the natural orange glow characteristics …such depth to the stones. I love these four large curved links that do really make such a statement. There is a simple hook closure to the bracelet, alongside a silver safety chain. You can also use the heart clasp as additional security if you wish. The bracelet is in excellent condition generally. The only noteworthy thing to mention is that the “handle” shape to the heart clasp is a little misshapen….this would easily reshape if you were bothered about it.
The bracelet is approx 1.5cm wide and is approx 20cm (a touch under 8 inches) long.
The stones feel sleek and tactile as it slips onto your wrist. A lovely bracelet!
I will send her in a new gift box as the boxes in the images are for display only. Complimentary postage is included-thank you.
