Description
A show stopping midnight blue enamel ring, fully signed as a Bernard Instone ring on the inside of the band. It features this lovely dark midnight blue (a little darker than the photos seem to show) with a black drizzle overlaid with a gold drizzle….a beautiful layered enamel effect.
I love the simplicity of this design, with its typical Arts and Crafts double band and the placement of a single draped vine leaf on each shoulder. Beautifully naturalistic without being overly fussy.
The larger sized enamel plaque has a diameter of approx 1.2cm. Signed on the inside of the band “SILVER B.I” and it measures approx UK size N (US 6.75). There were a few of the rings in this range with the single vine leaves at the shoulders but I have not seen another in these exact colours like this.
In excellent order-just some patina you may wish to polish further. I will send to you in a brand new giftbox as the box in the images is for display only. Thank you!
