This is an astounding bracelet. You feel the quality of both the materials and the execution, as soon as you touch it. This is such a rare find, as the usual c1870-1880 Victorian bracelet with agate are not made in such a charming way. This is elegance and quality and goodness, spectacle-set agate stones….very rare indeed and oh so beautiful.
In high carat gold (min 14ct but most likely 18ct) there are ten different roundels of agate, carefully selected, beautifully polished and nestling in their own individually hand crafted spectacle settings. This bracelet achieves a look of the contemporary because of the lovely, rather rectangular shaped gold links forming the main structure of the bracelet. A truly beautiful and extremely rare Victorian beauty, which will catch anyone’s eye.
She measures approx 19cm (7.5 inches) in length and the length of each dangle from the main section is approx 1.5cm. No marks (as was fairly typical) but the gold has been tested.
