Description
This is an eye-catching antique English c1900 Arts and Crafts sterling silver pendant with a particularly striking topaz paste stone. It has been wonderfully-cut and I love how it catches the light easily. The colour is the exact intense orange you have with topaz stones….so remarkably vivid. I also adore how there is a small bezel-set mother-of-pearl set above it, as the colours look clean and fresh together.
There is a beautifully delicate silver detailing with scrolls and single / clusters of silver balls. This is a typical decoration of the c1900 Arts and Crafts era. Even the tiny, detailed bale has been crafted by hand. This is a very attractive pendant with a large and vivid centrepiece so will definitely get noticed. In excellent condition. Some patina on the silver you may wish to leave / clean. The height of the pendant is approx 4.3cm and the diameter of the stone itself is approx 2.3cm.
