An elegant and distinctive antique Edwardian ring in a double Toi et Moi design c1910. An absolute treasure of a ring, which is sleek enough and petite so that you could stack it or else wear on its own, as the design is so wonderfully Edwardian and those sapphires are such a stunning cornflower blue.
Clearly a quality ring as it is crafted in 18ct gold with a stamped (hand etched) platinum setting, it shows two pairs of stones, giving a doubled romantic notion. The use of the cornflower blue is a reminder of the eternal nature of the love. It is just a sleek and beautiful ring – not bold and brash, but much more understated. She is in pleasing condition with only a little wear to one sapphire, in accordance with her age. No chips or scratches I can see.
The two diamonds are in hand crafted rub over settings and they twinkle brightly too. As you would hope, the ring is fully stamped with a maker’s mark, “18ct” and also “Pla”. She measures as a UK size M (US size 6.25). In pleasing and ready-to-wear condition.
