The most scintillating antique Georgian earrings I have come across in quite a while. They are exuberant in the size and number of jammy red foiled garnets in their drops. The gold tests as minimum of 15ct gold and each earring has six lovely jammy red flat-cut garnets- fabulous. They are also fitted with high carat gold wires and are ready to wear or else to gift to a lucky individual. With 12 garnets in total, this represents a lucky number of balance and completion, and also represents a love token for the 12 months in the year. A wonderful message in keeping with the overall theme of love represented in these delicious earrings.
Dating from the Georgian era in the 1800s, these beautiful earrings are in such an attractive design, with a drop and that cluster of three stones at the end of the drop. Oval stones are used, asides from the gorgeous pear-shaped stone at the bottom of each drop. That little touch alone, really elevates the design.
They are sophisticated and elegant pieces, with a drop of approx 4.5cm, so a little more statement than you usually get with this type of Georgian earrings. The hooks are well-attached and sturdy too. Stones and gold structure all in pleasing condition.
