Description
This is what I would describe as art sculpture, as well as being incredible jewellery design. They were created in the deserted mountains in Norway by “VALDRES SOLVSMIE” c1970 and to me, they seem as if they were literally chiselled from the icy mountains. Breath-taking pieces of work.
The earrings have already been adapted to silver wires, for ease of comfortable wearing. These are a little more petite than the silver amethyst pair I also for sale. Gorgeous statement in a very sleek size for everyday wear. I love citrines and here we have a lemon citrine and a honey citrine in each earring.
The earrings are each stamped on the verso “925S NORWAY VALDRES SOLVSMIE” and the earring drop measures approx 4.3 cm in height. Excellent condition-retains some patina which would polish away if you prefer your silver that way.
