A substantial and beautiful Victorian gold bangle fully stamped with the old English mark “9CT” and which has twisted, knotted sections of gold in a plaited design at the front. Two of these gold “strands” are decorated in a snakeskin design, whilst the other two are plain gold. It gives the idea of snakes being wrapped around the plait, which is lovely. Set with a roundel of pave set turquoise stones, further representing the idea of eternal love. Their forget-me-not colour was the reason they were used so much as a love token in Victorian jewellery. Three motifs elevating this piece as a token of everlasting love.

I love that the plaited section is substantial in size. In fact the bangle weighs 11g which is a good weight for a piece like this. It is such a pleasing thing on the wrist too, as you can hopefully see in the images. It retains its original catch and the safety chain is there too, so you have extra security when wearing the bangle.

The bangle is approx 18.5 to 19cm (which is approx 7.25 to 7.5 inches). She is in pleasing condition, with a couple of dings to the gold band on the non-showing side. This is typical for these types of bangles. The tiniest ding near the catch on the back. The larger ding in the centre of the under section I am hoping you can see on the images. She’s had a life so is not perfect. A gorgeous thing in a beautiful design.

Complimentary international courier or else special delivery within the  UK. I will send in a new gift box as the box in the images is for display only-thank you.
