Description

A lovely petite fringe necklace, which I believe to be later than the Edwardian period, possibly 1930s-1940s. In typical Edwardian fringe style – this necklace has 17 hand-cut faceted very pinkish almandine garnets. Most are set on the main section of chain, plus there is a double drop and a central triple drop.

The stones are that lovely light pink colour and have all been tested. They are bezel set in their silver claw settings so that the light comes through the stones well.

As said-typically petite, the central drop measures approx 2.5cm in height and the wearable length of the necklace is approx 39cm (15.5 inches) so this will sit just under the throat. All stones are present and correct and in pleasing condition. Looks like it may have had a replacement catch in the past.
