A fabulous pair of statement flower design earrings, featuring large and showy opals, which I am presuming are Boulder opals by the vivid colours. The earrings look like older earrings that have been converted to modern 9ct hallmarked posts and butterfly backs. They make such a beautiful statement, and have those wonderful flower petal scallops around the edges. Large flowers with showy, colourful stones.
The opals shift mainly from their sky blue base to green and vivid turquoise flashes with the odd flash of red occasionally. The face of the earrings measures approx 1.7cm in height. The posts have full UK hallmarks on them, which I find unusual, hence my suggestion of those having been added more recently. The earring butterflies are also stamped “375” for 9ct gold. In excellent condition and ready to wear.
