A beautiful rarity of a ring-an antique Edwardian c1910 Toi et Moi ring on a twist crafted in 18ct yellow gold and exhibiting two large faceted zircon stones of beautiful light play. I adore zircons because of the intensity of their colour, as well as the fact they are such sparkly stones. This pair of zircons are larger than you would usually find in a ring of this type and I love that they are both as large as each other. They measure approx 5mm in diameter so the ring makes quite the statement on your finger. Toi et Moi rings are designed to symbolise in their pair of stones, the love that two people have for each other.
The stones, as said, are good companions to each other, being the same size and well-matched in colour. Faceted beautifully to sparkle away with the incredible backdrop of the zircon colour behind all that play of light. A lovely, sturdy 18ct twist design for the band, has these stones nestling in nicely to the design. The band is stamped with the Edwardian mark “18 CT” on the inside.
The ring measures approx as a UK size P (US approx size 7.5). Light wear so she really is in super condition to wear immediately. A fabulous thing and a rarity to come across with zircons being used as the stones.
