Description
An antique Art Deco c1920s diamond engagement ring with a sizeable diamond (approx 5mm square) and which looks fabulous on the finger. If you are like me and love the squareness of some of the Art Deco designs, then this ring will appeal. It has just enough squareness to be visibly Art Deco-even the round cut central diamond is set in a square setting with chunky long prongs nestling it at each corner. She is a lovely thing!
There is also a slight stepped design at the shoulders, set with two small diamonds on each side set in square millegrained settings. This just gives the whole ring a lovely balanced design and of course, the sparkles at the shoulders simply hint at the main sparkle from the central diamond. A beautiful ring in pleasing condition. The sturdy gold band is stamped with the old English mark “18CT”. The main section of the ring has been executed in platinum so that the whiteness of the metal enhances the pure sparkle of the stones.
A lovely, quality Art Deco diamond ring which is a classic. It came to me in the old purple box you see in the images and I am happy to send that to you too. It is rather threadbare so if you would prefer a new box, please just let me know when you purchase this beautiful thing. The size is approx UK L (US 5.75 approx). It has a plain band so if you needed to resize, it would no problem for your jeweller. Weight 3.6g.
I shall send by complimentary international tracked and signed or else by special delivery within the UK.
