Description

This is an attractive 18ct white gold and diamond round halo ring that has been tested by my jeweller. He also appraised its value for insurance purposes (please see below). It is a round halo ring, which are very desirable for us today and I love that that as you wear it, all of the surface is covered with diamonds, so that you see no bare gold at the front. It is super sparkly.

There is a raised, galleried central section. In the centre of the cluster design there are 4 princess diamonds in the centre in a tension setting. Laid overlapping them on the above layer are 4 marquise diamonds. It’s the first time I have seen this arrangement but it seems it is a way of enhancing the sparkle even more. There is a tiny gap all the way around and then the final halo of diamonds, where there are 21 round, brilliant cut diamonds. Finally, there are a further 8 round cut diamonds to each shoulder, which means all you see from the front view are diamonds running down the sides of the band too. This design means it is a light, ethereal and super sparkly piece to wear.

This is a lightweight, slim proportioned ring, that is not heavy to wear, unlike many of the antique rings I sell. If you desire heavy and chunky, then go antique…if you are happy with a contemporary and lighter ring like this, set with lots of diamonds, then this could be for you. I would say it would make a beautiful evening / special occasion ring rather than an everyday ring. Due to the tension set diamond arrangement to the centre, my jeweller said he would not recommend resizing the ring. It is a approx UK size M (US 6 to 6.25).

Stamped with “750” on the inside of the band, indicating 18ct gold and also with the total diamond weight “0.68”.

Estimated total diamond weight: 0.68ct  Approx diamond colour: G-H, Approx diamond clarity: SI and value for insurance purposes: £2,800. The said jeweller is a member of the UK’s National Association of Jewellers.

I shall send in a new gift box by complimentary express courier internationally of else by special delivery within the UK. Box in the images is for display only, thank you.
