A fabulous Cartier design, in 18ct yellow, rose and white golds, giving a stacked bands effect and with the two “C” motifs decorated in diamonds. It is a quality, sparkling jewel, exactly what you would expect from a Cartier design. It is fully stamped with its unique Cartier serial number, “750” for 18ct gold, “49” which I presume is the design number, as well as two tiny French gold stamps.
I adore this wraparound design, with those diamond-studded “C”s shown at the front of the ring as you wear her. The photos really do not do the sparkle justice. The golds are wonderful, layered like this, adding such a rich quality to the ring generally. Who doesn’t love the Cartier logo and not all of the “C de Cartier” rings are decorated with diamonds. It elevates the sumptuousness of the ring even further.
It is a small size, fitting a UK size I (US 4.25). I have tried it on my small finger and it really does look astonishingly beautiful. I think it may well be able to be resized to a slightly larger size as the gap in the front of the wraparound could be widened by your jeweller.
It is a classic, opulent ring by the quality that is Cartier. It is in pleasing condition and the band measures approx 10mm in width on the back section, obviously a little wider where the “C” motifs are situated. It weighs approx 5.0g.
