Description

A most attractive antique Edwardian pendant crafted in 9ct yellow gold throughout and stamped “9CT” with the old English Edwardian hallmark, on its bale. It is , pleasingly, intact complete with its original bale and matching claw-set circular drop suspended below the main plaque.

This is such a gratifying Edwardian design, which is delightful in the balance of its elements. It is an open work piece which has been set with a centrally claw-set blister pearl, matching the blister pearl drop completely. Those tiny gold claws n the pearls look so pretty. Claw-set turquoise stones are set at the Cardinal points and it does not pass one by, that the overriding theme of this piece is the celebration of love. Pearl for purity and turquoise for forget-me-not, ie the everlasting permanence of true love.

I love the significance that good jewellery carries….this has the unwritten message all wrapped up in such a beautiful design.

In excellent order, stamped as gold on the bale “9CT”. The pendant is ready to pop onto one of your own chains, as the listing is for the pendant only. Thank you.
The pendant measures approx 4cm in height.

It will be sent by either special delivery or else International Tracked. Many thanks and please do ask if you have any further questions. Please note any boxes are for display purposes only and the pendant will be securely boxed in another box for safe passage.
