A fabulous pair of bright, luminous earrings with torpedo shaped, smooth rock crystal stones, mixed gem stones in green and pink, held together with floral decorations and attributed to Horace Minns of the Artificers’ Guild c1920s. They are fitted with 9ct gold posts and butterfly fasteners…hurrah…beautifully done and ready to wear!

Many of the Artificers’ Guild motifs appear in this wonderful and rare pair of hand-crafted and finely executed pair of articulated drop earrings. The exciting colour combination of two shades of green and pink really does catch the eye beautfully and enhances what is already a statement pair of earrings.

In three sections, the pink paste stud at the lobe hints at the colour in the main, wreath section of the earrings. Below the pink stud, is an oval in silver open work, consisting of four circles dotted with a central forget-me-not. It is the same on the reverse. Below this motif a wreath of flowers and gems is suspended. The flowers I have seen before in the Guilds’ work. The tiny, bright gem stones are set in their own, very finely finished mille grain settings. Such tiny, precise work of wonderful quality.

Three bright pink pastes, two chrysoprase cabs and a pale green cab (probably pale jade or chrysoberyl) are nestled together in the design. A large torpedo-shaped rock crystal drop is suspended below the wreath and it has a silver collar with tiny balls on it. Sumptuous colours and design.

Exquisite and rare things in super order and ready to wear-not too heavy as they are so finely done-they look beautiful when worn. The drop measures approx 5.5cm (approx 2.25 inches) in height. The beauty of the finish on the reverse of the earrings is sensational too.

Please note I will send in a new gift box. I am not currently sending to Germany.
