A lovely Belle Epoque, c1910-1920 pendant with brooch fastener, amazingly nestling in her original fitted box from the era. The velvet is a vivid violet colour, which looks so beautiful against the white of the pearls, in particular. The structure of the pendant has been crafted in 15ct gold, with platinum atop to give the best setting for the diamonds and pearls.
This is such a romantic and elegant piece, in a roundel design, studded with 6 small pearls and a single flower studded with diamonds (tested). The matching bale is set with a slightly larger pearl, also incredibly white and creamy like the others. If you really wished to gift a token of your love-this piece has it all, including the fitted box. It even looks like the pin is crafted in gold too-9ct gold I would imagine.
The pendant measures approx 2.7cm in height. In pleasing condition -under the loupe I can see jeweller’s glue securing a few of the pearls, from a historic securing no doubt but this is not visible unless scrutinised with a loupe. I will be sending her to you, along with her fitted box. I will send by Special Delivery within the UK and by courier internationally. Thank you.
