A most attractive piece of Scottish design with Edinburgh hallmarks for 2007 and the maker’s mark KW. I have not been able to find out who it is unfortunately. I love the design, however.

In an organically irregular rectangular framework, sit five circles of different sizes. To me, they seem to represent planets. Each has a different coloured enamel / resin which are all blue to green in colour. Each has a different pattern too. They sit in silver which has been oxydised, reminding me of the universe. You may have a completely different take on it and that’s wonderful. Pieces like this, allow us to make our own interpretations.

It sits squat and heavy in the hand and is well made. It retains some patina, which can be polished easily away if you prefer.

Clearly hallmarked for 2007 and the maker “KW”. In excellent condition. Please note the box in the images is for display purposes only. Thank you.
