Description

A wonderful, bold, sophisticated late 1920s bracelet, crafted superbly in 14ct gold with the most luminous carnelians and chrysoprase stones, which make for such a beautiful colour combination. This bracelet is completely gorgeous! It feels like silk on your arm, so smooth and so finely made. I literally did not want to take it off again, which is always a sign that I have fallen in love with something! Impossible not to notice the beauty of the stones – especially those rare, large, carnelian links.

I have seen one or two very similar bracelets, neither marked as gold, just tested as 14 carat. This one has the original gold mark, “14K” so that is always a nice addition. This combination of agates is so eye catching too and really does typify both the glamour and the potency of the Art Deco era. An absolute triumph. The gold links are also a little different, being crafted into beautiful arched ovals, and ribbed too, just to add that extra Deco touch. They are fitted so that they allow the carnelian links to move right around – such a liberating and elegant design.

In excellent condition – I scrutinised, as always, and found a mere teeniest scratch/nibble/sliver (so tiny I struggle to find the right word) on one chrysoprase, near the base of one of the pyramids. Nothing to see with the naked eye- in absolutely astonishingly good condition, as usually there are chips to the tops of the pyramid stones. Not here! A really fabulous piece to add to your fine jewellery collection and you will surely enjoy wearing this bracelet.

She measures approx 18.5cm (7.5 inches). The carved carnelian links each measure approx 3cm in length. A superbly and finely crafted beauty.

Please note I will send carefully packaged in a new bracelet gift box by private courier internationally or else Special Delivery within the UK.
