This is such a fabulous ring-it is so sparkly with the diamonds having good colour. I love, love, love the whole look of the ring with the rectangular, emerald-cut emerald and the 12 round old cut mine diamonds surrounding it. What a statement of love. The emerald can signify life, growth and new beginnings and with a diamond for each month of the year accompanying it, it is an auspicious design. I have had the ring valued by member of the UK’s National Association of Jewellers who has valued her £3,000. I can include the valuation certificate for you if desired.
The dimensions and balance of this ring are lovely-sometimes clusters are too large and lose their elegance. Here, there is such a sweet balance in the dimensions. Those who I have shown her to, have instantly fallen in love with her. Wearing so comfortably on the finger, as it has a sleek low setting. The ring is stamped on the inside of the band with “750” so she is an antique European piece. There is also a hand-etched jeweller’s number which does not mean anything to me.
I adore the vivid grass green of the emerald and the cut is one of my favourites too. She is a well-considered and elegant piece of jewellery. She is a keeper!
