Description
A beautiful antique 9ct gold bracelet dating from the first decade of the twentieth century The stylised links are wonderful as they have a simplistic Art Nouveau design and are also curved. This makes the bracelet fit your wrist in such a cosy and comfortable way.
I love both the look and the feel of this exquisite bracelet. There are 6 of those openwork gold panels and five bezel-set turquoise links. Turquoise was used in the jewellery of that era, as it is the same colour as the forget-me-not flower. Therefore, giving a gift with turquoise in it, was a token of love and the everlasting nature of love.
Pleasingly, the original safety chain is still intact, and there is the benefit of the bracelet having a 9ct gold heart padlock too. All-in-all a beautiful antique bracelet that sings love.
In pleasing condition for her age, she measures approx 1.1cm wide and approx 19.4cm in length (a touch over 7.5 inches). The bracelet weighs approx 10.2g. Stamped with the old English “9CT” mark.
I shall send her safely stored in her own new bracelet box, by Special Delivery within the UK or else by Express courier internationally. Boxes in the images are for display only. Thank you.
