A beautiful, real natural Saltwater pearl necklace, dating from the c1900-1910 era, which has been fully tested and certified. I will, of course, send the certificate to you along with the necklace. It would make such a special present-a quality antique necklace which has its original 15ct gold (stamped) barrel fastener. A fabulous thing, consisting of no less than 213 natural Saltwater pearls.
There is just something magical about touching these real Saltwater pearls, they are like silk, to me, and of course they are in such demand. It is always a good idea to buy certificated pearls as it can be quite tricky to tell sometimes, just by looking at them. These wonderful antique Victorian/Edwardian Saltwater pearl necklaces are not bold and brash, but elegant and understated. You could wear them easily during the day and they would be a subtle addition to your outfit.
The necklace is slightly longer than choker length, at approx 41.5cm (16.25 inches). The barrel is stamped with the antique mark “15CT”. In pleasing condition, with evidence(when scrutinised under the loupe) of a historic jeweller’s repair between the two smallest pearls near the clasp. Not noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. Ready to be worn and loved!
