A fabulous guilloche enamel pill container hallmarked from the year 1920 and made in Birmingham, carrying maker’s marks clearly too. This was such an inventive way of being able to carry around your pills in such a beautiful piece of jewellery. The guilloche section opens up to reveal a bright gold gilt interior at the base. There are hallmarks inside, maker’s stamp and also some hand etched Roman numerals, along with the serial number 9.
Such a lovely discreet piece in wonderful condition, including the enamel. It is paired with a lovely choker-style heavy solid silver Victorian chain, complete with dog clip. The dog clip is stamped STERLING and each link in the chain features the sterling stamp of the Lion Passant.
This eye-catching pendant also carries an antique personalisation of an EH monogram to the reverse- beautifully done. It measures approx 5cm in diameter so is a relatively large pendant. The chain measures approx 44.5cm (17.5 inches in length).
A beautiful thing-ready to wear! I shall send by complimentary tracked and signed post in a new gift box to keep her safe. Boxes in the images are for display only. Thank you.
