A super pair of vintage earrings, crafted with torpedo-shaped cabochons of rose quartz. The stones are wonderful, with many interesting inclusions of those creamy white lines against the pale pink to lilac backdrop. I believe they would have been crafted in the late Art Deco era and, pleasingly, they are set in 9ct gold, not the usual silver we see on this type of design. I love the little gold fan designs that sit at the lobe, from which the stones are suspended.
The paleness of the stone against the richness of the gold is an excellent pairing. Rose quartz is often viewed as a heart chakra stone and is purported to promote the element of love within your life. These earrings are very sweet and already set on gold posts with butterfly backs, so are ready to gift or else to wear yourself.
In excellent order, just a tiny trace of glue (one cap to the stone) on maximum close-up which you do not see with the naked eye when wearing. Each earring measures approx 3.2cm. Beautifully wearable and not too heavy at all.
