A beautiful Art Nouveau bracelet c1905 showing bright, pristine enamelling in a swirly round design on the panels. Most likely by James Fenton, as it displays his characteristic bubbly effect enamel, mainly bright turquoise blue with a hint of green here and there. Not quite as cobalt blue as it looks in some of the images, as it is quite tricky to capture on the camera. Stunningly beautiful.
In a design I have not seen before, these 6 enamelled roundels are enamelled in blue on the reverse too. The sinuous silver lines of the design on the front are so evocative of the era. The double chains between each roundel give it a little extra too.
This lovely bracelet is in superb condition, both the silver work and the enamel. Difficult to find pieces now, especially bracelets, as they did not make them in quite the same numbers as pendants or brooches. It has had a clasp replacement during its lifetime. Ready to wear and goodness, does it look fabulous on the wrist-a real show stopper!
It measures approx 19cm (17.5 inches) in length. I shall post her to you in a box for safe keeping (not the one in the images as that is for display purposes only).
