A truly beautiful statement ring dating from the early years of the 1900s (Jugendstil) from Germany in a beautiful design, which I have not seen before. Hand crafted in 935 standard silver, which has a higher silver content than sterling -usually reserved for the finer pieces of jewellery.
A mighty, beautifully cut and super sparkly lemon citrine sits at the centre of the design. The length of the citrine is approx 2cm and it is at least 12 to 13 carats minimum in size. A mighty stone.
Each side of the ring is flanked by a particularly ornate rose flower set with three hand detailed silver leaves to both sides. There is such a 3D quality to this beautiful ring as the rose heads protrude from the stone so fabulously. The setting includes four sets of double prongs and a lovely openwork detailing beneath the design so the ring sits majestically on your hand. A gorgeous thing all round!!!!
Stamped “935” on the inside of the band and in excellent condition, both silver work and the stones. An absolute peach of a ring. Approx UK size N.5 and US size 7.
I will send by Tracked and Signed delivery-please note I am not currently sending to Germany.
