This pendant really is one of the prettiest designs I have seen in the delicate Belle Epoque work. Dating c1910 and from Germany I believe (stamped “800”) this pendant actually resembles a lace work design. It has been carefully constructed with a lot of work by hand, which is so evident.
It is a large pendant, having a matching bale, studded with a sparkling paste and also, a rather large round paste drop, which also catches the light beautifully. Articulated as it is, it dances playfully in the light. All pastes are present and complete.
Please note the listing is for the pendant only. The bale for the pendant, by the way, is very large so if you preferred using a thicker chain-then that would be no issue at all. The height of the pendant is approx 5.8cm including the bale.
A beautiful pendant indeed, which will be sent tracked and signed. Please note the box in the images is for display only but I will post in a new gift box. I am sorry I can not post to Germany currently.
