A statement silver Arts and Crafts bracelet with the most wonderful sparkling light blue pastes, c1920s England by Bernard Instone. It is just the most wonderful design and the blue selected for the stones is scintillating.
It is so rare to come across an Instone bracelet, as we all know so I am sure this one will not hang around long. It will be whisked off to complement someone’s eyes or else outfit. It is such a super shade of blue!
Each of the figure of 8 silver panels are decorated with a central ball in silver, around which are set two groups of three leaves. All worked by hand, as you can see when you turn over the bracelet.
There are five blue pastes, cut remarkably so that the maximum light is flashed around by them. They are bezel set in deep settings, which are also open-backed to allow the light through. Each stone is approx 1.4cm in length.
The catch is stamped STERLING and the length of the bracelet is approx 18.5cm. (just under 7.5 inches)
In lovely condition and ready to wear. A tiny wear to the stones but not as much as you would expect for its age.
