Description

RESERVED for E only – thank you ***********************************

A very pretty pair of late 1920s / early 1930s Arts and Crafts earrings by Bernard Instone, in a rarer design of oak leaves and acorns. In two sections, there is a single hand-tooled flower sitting at the top of the design and suspended from that is a round, open work plaque, featuring a rectangular dark lemon citrine. A pair of oakleaves are set to each side, with an acorn on a stalk at the bottom of the design. They face different ways so you know which is the left and which is the right earring.

To the verso, in typical Bernard design, there is a single oak leaf draped at the bottom of the stone. Pleasingly, the earrings have been fitted with gold wires so are absolutely ready to be worn comfortably. They are so wearable, as they are not too large but are large enough to be noticed, especially with the very sparkling citrines that are a good size. The height of each earring is approx 3.2cm.

They are in super condition, stones perfect too…just a little patina so they would polish further if you prefer that. Excellent examples in a rarer design.

I will send in a new gift box as the boxes in the images are for display only. Complimentary international tracked and signed or else Special Delivery within the UK. Thank you.
