Description
This is a particularly fabulous c1930 Art Deco ring, which has the most sumptuous detailing and design. This beauty has such a vivacious and beautiful aesthetic, displaying superbly the geometric ideals of Art Deco design in this era. A wonderful, authentic antique ring with vibrant cornflower blue sapphires, that are so sought after, at the centre of the design. It is a fine quality ring indeed.
I adore the rectangular form of the ring, which does look so flattering when worn. The diamonds are well-matched and are bright and lively, as I hope you can see. There is much sparkle and glamour in this ring, with approx 0.6ct diamonds in those rows around the four central square step-cut sapphires.
I also love the gallery details, including that lovely typical roll effect underneath the North and South of the ring. It adds an extra elevated touch to the overall design. A touch of chased detailing along the sides and a low gallery (, which means the ring sits low to your finger when worn. She is a beautiful thing all round. In excellent condition…I could only find one tiny tiny nibble from one of the four sapphires, under intense scrutiny with a jeweller’s loupe. I think you would really struggle to see it even on the magnified photos I took as it is so minute. Mentioned for accuracy purposes, as she really is in super order for her years. No assay marks, as is often the case with antique rings, although has been fully tested and the stones confirmed.
Ready to wear or else gift to some lucky recipient. I shall package in a new ring box as the boxes in the images are for display purposes only. box and post by complimentary express courier internationally or by Special Delivery within the UK. Thank you.
