Description

A really strikingly elegant ring which I believe to be c1910, so Edwardian era. It sits low to the finger, which is perfect to wear as it is so comfortable. The overall look of the ring is quietly understated and ethereal.

It really is the most beautiful design, featuring a large opal cabochon which has green, blue and orange sparkles as it catches the light. What I really love is the mounting of a tiny bezel set turquoise cab on each shoulder. The blues really complement each other so well. The stones are set in silver, as was typical due to the fact that silver was a better colour for showing off the natural qualities of the stones. It has, however, a thick and robust band in gold, indicating it is a well-made piece.

A really unusual and sophisticated ring that is large enough to be very eye catching-measuring approx 1.7cm from top to bottom. A very flattering ring t wear, especially with the turquoise side details. It measures as a UK size M.5 (US 6.5).

I shall send it to you in a new ring box, as the box in the images is for display purposes only. Thank you!
