A wow of an antique bracelet, which sings loudly the virtues of the decadent and opulent Art Deco era. It is a fine, quality piece of design and has at its centre a half carat old-cut diamond. The use of diamonds with the very en vogue black and green of the AD era really do place this beautiful piece in the late 1920s. It is a wonderfully balanced geometric statement of shapes and fine materials. Authentic and beautiful, in pleasing condition for her age.
The significant, central diamond sparkles beautifully and is set with an arrangement of old-cut diamonds to two sides, with two rounded, rectangular panels of black onyx completing the central plaque. Hinged to either side are diamond-shaped panels, studded with old-cut diamonds and a faceted emerald is claw-set in the centre. The next panel hinged to either side is a round link set with onyx, featuring a cabochon of emerald at its centre and with an old-cut diamond to either side.
Three rectangular black onyx set links complete the bracelet, with one panel concealing the box clasp. There is a spare onyx link, which would lengthen the bracelet by approx 1.2cm if needed. Good to have and to know!
The central panel measures approx 2.1cm square and the length of the bracelet is approx 17.5cm (6.89 inches) in length, but there is always the extra link which would help if you need it to be longer. A beautiful, beautiful piece which is a rarity indeed.
I will send by express courier internationally and by special delivery within the UK. Boxes in the images are not included but I will put her in a beautiful box to protect her well. Thank you.
