A wonderful pair of vintage / antique quality drop earrings executed in high carat gold (minimum 18ct) and with lovely aquamarines at the end of each drop. I suspect they are older earrings which have been fitted with gold posts and 9ct butterfly backs at some point in their more recent lives.
Certainly this type of gold chain was around in the Victorian era, and the spectacle-set aquamarines would fit for that era too. The oval faceted aquamarines have been tested as such and they are of a good colour and well-matched.
They are substantial and eye-catching earrings and may well match a necklace chain of this type to make a lovely pairing for you. The drop measures approx 3.7cm. Light wear to the stones in line with their age. They will come in the box pictured in the images.
