I love this ring! It has the largest, showiest, most beautifully-cut rock crystal stone, which just makes you want to stare, as there to see all of those facets bouncing the light around. It is an impressive ring, dated 1968 and with the maker’s marks for Isaac Cohen of Sweden. It has full Swedish silver marks too.
The lovely rock crystal tapers to a gentle point and hen it is show cased in this fabulous triple-banded silver collar with circular cut-outs giving you further glimpses of the base of the stone too. The silver band tapers from narrower where it joins the face of the ring to wider at the opposite side. It is so comfortable and so impressive to wear.
In excellent order and beautifully constructed- this sort of cool, 1960s Modernist jewellery from Scandinavia is still so relevant for us today. The design is fabulous. It measures as a UK size L (US 5.5). The statement rock crystal stone is approx 1.5cm in diameter. As said – the cut is truly sensational.
