Description
A beautiful and scarce antique 1800s ring in strong buttery yellow high-carat gold, tested as minimum 22ct, and with three probable natural saltwater pearl halves. The lustre of the pearls has that amazing creamy, grey to purple lustre as you move it around, which you usually get with saltwater pearls so that would be my educated guess. The largest is approx 5mm in diameter whilst the two pearls flanking the central pearl, are approx 3.5mm in diameter. It is a beautifully classic and elegant ring.
I adore so much about this wonderful piece; it is a well-balanced design, sits very snugly against your finger and is, therefore, really comfortable to wear. The pearls look sumptuous against that bright yellow of the gold. There is a scroll design down the sides of the shoulders with the rest of the band after that, being plain. This makes it ideal if you wish to resize, as there is no pattern to be disrupted in that process.
I can’t see any marks but it has been tested as a minimum of 22ct gold. It measures as approx UK size P (US size 7.5). It weighs 2.4g. In pleasing condition and ready to wear. Some wear to the pearls as you would expect in line with her age. A beautiful treasure.
I will send by complimentary international express courier or else by Special Delivery within the UK. Box is for display purposes only but she will be boxed in a new ring box. Thank you!
