An incredibly gorgeous Victorian pendant, crafted in 15ct yellow gold, decorated with rose cut diamonds as little flowers over the caging effect. It comes with the 9ct gold fine trace chain you see in the images. This delicious caged turquoise example is perhaps one of the finest I have come across. It is also on the large size for an example of this type-a special thing!
The teardrop shaped light blue turquoise stone is of such pleasing proportions and I love the slanted caged lines of gold running around the stone. The gold comes to a lovely point at the base of the pendant. In groups of threes, there are some draped flower heads, delicately crafted and set with an old-cut diamond at its centre. All are present and in excellent condition. The drooped little flower heads look so pretty and just add an extra touch of beauty to this already aesthetically pleasing piece.
The pendant has a largeish bale, through which is currently a 9ct gold trace chain-I am happy to include it in the sale for you. The pendant (plus bale) measures approx 4cm in height and the wearable length of the chain is approx 46cm (approx 18 inches). This is a special love token- the blue of the turquoise resembling the blue of the forget-me-not flower.
