Description
This is what I would describe as art sculpture, as well as being incredible jewellery design. They were created in the deserted mountains in Norway by “VALDRES SOLVSMIE” c1970 and to me, they seem as if they were literally chiselled from the icy mountains. Breath-taking pieces of work.
The earrings have their original clip fasteners-very rare to see their earrings and to find matching ones to the bracelet too, is something special. They each have a circular framework section at the lobe and a drop, culminating in panels like those on the bracelet, each with two amethysts in the design.
The earrings are each stamped on the verso “925S NORWAY VALDRES SOLVSMIE” and they measure approx 6.7cm in height.
