Description

This is a unique and really attractive Victorian piece dating from the late 1800s. It carries English hallmarks, in fact, every single link of the chain carries the Lion Passant stamp for sterling. I love the unusual construction of this piece, clearly converted from a most attractive fob chain. The ornate, silver bar links and decorated silver ball sections appear at random places on the necklaces -nothing symmetrical here. I love it!

Long enough to worn as a choker style necklace, it also comes with stamped T-bar and a fabulous Victorian tassel charm suspended from it too. A very decorative piece and I am sure it will get noticed. It fastens now behind the neck on a spring clasp. The suspended section measures approx 7.7cm and the wearable length of the necklace is approx 38.5cm (15.25 inches). It has silver stamps all over the place …lots of the jump rings are stamped too. It’s a pretty piece indeed.

I will send in a new gift box to keep it safe, as the box in the images is for display only. Complimentary tracked and signed postage is included. Thank you.
