A gorgeous, sparkly pale lemon citrine ring in a most attractive design, Edinburgh 1978

1 in stock

A lovely, statement light bright and sparkly lemon citrine, beautifully faceted so it bounces the light around. A ring reminiscent of Art Deco design and signed by the Scottish maker Thomas Kerr Ebbutt with an Edinburgh 1978 date mark.

The beautiful stone, with just a hint of lemon colour catches the light beautifully as said. I adore the knife edge shoulders where it attaches to the front of the ring-so sleek and elegant. I also adore the way Ebbutt has used long, squared, parallel claws to retain the stone. They remind you immediately of Art Deco rings from the 1930s. The stone alone measures approx 14mm by 11mm and is in lovely condition.

The ring measures as a UK M.5 (US size 6) and is stamped fully with Edinburgh hallmarks for 1978 as well as having a “TE” stamp for the maker Thomas Kerr Ebbutt.

I shall send in a new ring box and by complimentary tracked and signed post. Thank you.
