A really attractive design on this stamped 9ct gold (I believe it has a London stamp) vintage ring, which is very much in the Arts and Crafts style. Those three sleek, split leaves up each side of the stone at the shoulders are just beautiful. It makes for quite a dynamic ring.
There are four sets of double claws retaining the citrine in her position. It is a large, bright lemon sorbet colour and the stone alone measures approx 11mm by 10mm. There is a small chip to one edge-hence the price for such a striking ring in gold. Please do check the images. For me, it is not worth replacing as it wears on the finger superbly well and most likely nobody would ever notice. It looks as if it would polish out by your jeweller if it did bother you. The stone is large and wonderfully well-cut so it bounces the light and the joy around easily. It also has a well-constructed design, which is solid and sturdy and the stone is securely held.
It measures as approx UK size M (US 6.5). I shall send in a new gift box by complimentary tracked and signed. Thank you. Box in images is not included.
