Description
This is a lovely opal flower cluster ring with full vintage UK hallmarks, very much in the style of Victorian /Georgian flower clusters. I love the fact the central opal is elevated a little from the others as it gives it extra depth. The opals are fabulous with lots of red and green flashes, unlike many opal rings you see.
Six opals as petals and one representing the centre of the flower, in this forget-me-not flower design. All stones are in beautiful condition and super lively. I love the elongated claws on the mounts and the Georgian / Victorian style verso.
The 9ct gold band has a gold ball at each shoulder where the band attaches to the face of the ring. It has a lovely largeish band measuring as approx UK size R (US 8.75). It has full UK 9ct gold hallmarks for Birmingham and what looks like 1964. Beautifully constructed and a super pretty ring, ready to wear.
