A lovely navette shaped enamel ring c1930s, signed as a Bernard Instone ring on the inside of the band (partly obscured by the structure of the double band). It features a navette-shaped enamel plaque which is midnight blue and black as a base with metallic sea green and gold overlaid. Please note that the images with three rings is for demonstration only-it is only the blues ring on the same finger as the larger green, red and gold ring, which is included in this listing.
I love the simplicity of this design, with its typical Arts and Crafts double band and the placement of a single draped vine leaf on each shoulder. Beautifully naturalistic without being overly fussy.
A smaller, daintier ring, which is signed on the inside of the band “SILVER B.I”. It measures approx UK size J.5 (US 5). The ring has not been finished off underneath as neatly as it could have been (came as one of the last items from the workshop) the band where it meets the face has not been trimmed as neatly as it should have been but it is still comfortable to wear and you really can’t tell. Because of this I have offered this at a lower price than the perfect rings.
In good order otherwise (only spotted a teeny tiny nick in the enamel work under scrutiny with a loupe-not visible to the naked eye)-just some patina you may wish to polish further. I will send to you in a brand new giftbox as the box in the images is for display only. Thank you! Please note I am not sending to Germany at the moment.
