What an eye-catchingly fabulous vintage ring. I have not come across an aquamarine with quite this colour before. It is delicious, and the fact that there is a rectangular step-cut aquamarine stone merely allows the depth of colour to come through even more.
The cut also allows the light to bounce and the three graduated brilliant cut diamonds to each shoulder, add to the sparkle.
The proportions of this lovely ring are perfect – the stone runs vertically, which is flattering on the finger. The stone itself measures approx 11mm by just under 5mm. The ring itself is a smallish size, measuring approx UK J.5 (US size 5).
Weight approx 4.4g
Partially rubbed stamp “PLAT” on the inside of the band. In superb condition.
